A: A responsible Managing Officer (RMO) is a licensed contractor who is acting as the qualifying officer for a corporation's contractor license. The RMO is responsible for the company's compliance with the rules and regulations of the Contractors State License Board (CSLB) of California. A RMO or a qualifying individual is required by the CSLB for each corporate license.
A: We have already done most of the work for you. We maintain a pool of verified, qualified, and pre-screened contractors. All you need to do is enter your company information on the CSLB license application and pay your application fees. We guarantee the approval of our RMO, or we will replace him/her without any additional charges. We will also pay for your new application fees if our RMO turns out to be unqualified.
A: This is the easy part. All you have to do is execute an RMO referral agreement with us and file an application with the Contractors State License Board to license your corporation with our RMO qualifier. One of our experts will assist you with all the procedures.
Q: Why do I need to execute an RMO referral agreement?
A: This is how we get paid. We hired your RMO and we have agreements in place with him/her to serve your corporation and qualify for your license. Under this agreement we pay your RMO a monthly fee; therefore, we charge you a monthly fee to cover our costs and make a little profit. Our goal is to ensure your business is covered and protected.
A: The monthly fee for most customers is only $795 paid upon license approval. For a specific quote please contact us. A $1,500 refundable security deposit is required upon the execution of a contract in order to reserve your RMO.
Q: Can I expedite my RMO application?
A: In most cases expediting your license will cut down the processing time to as low as 4-6 weeks and will virtually eliminate any erroneous application rejections. Our experts will ensure the acceptance of your expedited request and help you move through the application maze and process. Expediting your application requires a small additional fee.
Q: What is a licensed "Shelf" corporation?
A: A "Shelf" corporation is a fully licensed (general construction B) new corporation that had no activity or history except for its license application (clean record guaranteed). These companies are fully licensed and ready to conduct construction business in the state of California. Each company has its own RMO who serves as the qualifying person for that corporation.
Q: How does a licensed “Shelf” corporation work?
A: Everything is set up for you to minimize, so you don’t have to waste time with tedious work. We have already done all the work. This company is ready to go and do business today!
A: This is the easy part. All you need to do is purchase the shares of one of these shelf corporations through a purchase agreement and sign our standard RMO referral fee agreement.
Q: Why do I need to execute an RMO referral agreement?
A: This is how we get paid following the purchase of the shelf corporation. We hired your RMO, we licensed your corporation, and we have agreements in place with him/her to serve your corporation and qualify it for its license. Under this agreement we pay your RMO a monthly fee and therefore we charge you a monthly fee to cover our costs and make a little profit. Our goal is to ensure your business is covered and protected.

A: All of our services are 100% legal. This is how the large construction companies have conducted their business for years and it is now available for you at a fraction of the cost.
A: We guarantee the acceptance & approval of our RMO. We will also pay for your new application fees if our RMO turns out to be unqualified and your application is rejected. We also guarantee that our RMO will have a clean record with the CSLB. We will replace without charge any RMO who can no longer serve as a qualifier or who's record has become burdened with any negative information or citations on the CSLB website.
Q: Do you provide application assistance and services?
A: Yes, we will refer you to one of our experts who will assist you with your license application to ensure that it is successfully accepted by the CSLB. Your application will be submitted in person and a copy of it will be date stamped by a CSLB official. The cost for this service is $250 and it is a sound investment considering that the CSLB rejects more than 50% of the applications it receives.
Q: How long does it take to get my new license approved?
A: The standard license application typically takes about 3 months to process. An expedited request can take 4-6 weeks. When you buy a "Shelf" corporation there is no wait. You can get started immediately.
Q: Do I need to take the CSLB license exam?
A: No, testing is not required. You can get your corporation's new license with the help of our RMO without taking any exams. You will receive the pocket license card and your name will appear on the CSLB website personnel list as a registered corporate officer without having to take the exam.
Q: Can I replace your RMO with my own RMO?
A: Yes, at any time you may replace our RMO with your own RMO, or with yourself once you have been qualified to do so by the CSLB. There will be an early termination cost which will vary depending on the duration of the contract and the time of the termination. In any case, our contracts are transferable so you can get out of your contract commitment anytime by finding someone else who is willing to take over and use your assigned RMO.
Q: What happens if my RMO quits or loses his or her contractor license?
A: Your RMO is guaranteed. If he or her quits or loses his/hers contractor license we will provide you with a replacement RMO. We guarantee that there will be no interruptions or lapses with your license due to RMO resignation or loss of license subject to the terms of our RMO referral agreement.
Q: Are you a contractor license school?
A: No, we do not provide any training or test preparation services. We skip that part all together to provide you with instant legitimate alternatives.
Q: Why do I need an RMO?
A: Any corporation wishing to conduct construction business in the state of California requires an RMO. Many times the owner of the corporation or one of its officers serves as the qualifying officer. We cater to those individuals or companies who cannot find a suitable RMO, or wish to have a guaranteed replacement RMO available to them for backup purposes.
